Vampire Overlord 2D was created for the 2022 global game jam which was themed to duality. The development team found inspiration in the tension created by the many forces which coexist in ever shifting equilibrium. We wanted to immerse ourselves and our players in struggles between control and abdication, humor and tragedy and in a perhaps overly blunt manner, life and (un)death. Challenge yourself to collect as many titles as you can before your not-so-eternal dynasty finds itself unmade by its own ambitious members.
